Summer Blogger Promo Tour - Week #4

This summer the blogosphere is going crazy and doing a 2 month long summer promo tour hosted by The Book Bratz. This week, I thought it would be nice to go have a tea party. Well more specifically who Mimi from M&EM Read would go have tea with.

I have actually met over 250 YA authors. However, there are many I still plan to meet.

Robison Wells: I have read all of his work. Variant will always be one of my all time favorites.
Jennifer Rush: I enjoyed Altered. I still have to read Reborn but I would read anything she published.
Sarah Rees Brennan: I have reread Unspoken over 8 times now. Her characters are witty and loveable and easy to relate to. So excited for her upcoming book.
Stephenie Meyer: Twilight will always be a dear favorite of mine because it got me into reading.
Amy Plum: The first physical ARC I ever received was from this author and I really enjoyed it.
Alexandra Monir: Timeless was a guilty pleasure.
Tera Lynn Childs: The first mermaid book I actually enjoyed was from this author. Whenever I am in a reading slump, I know where to go for comfort.
Jeff Sampson: Always action packed and filled with plot twists I had no idea were coming. I need more from this author ASAP!
R.L. Stine: I just found out he is from Ohio! I want to meet him even more now. I loved his vampire duo Dangerous Girls. I gave Eye Candy a try and even though it was predictable, I liked it.
Melissa De La Cruz: Blue Bloods #1-3 are my favorite from her.

Four clans have been at war for centuries: the Kodiak, the Raven, the Wolf and the Ram. Through brutal war tactics, the Ram have dominated the region, inflicting death and destruction on their neighbors.

Seventeen-year-old Zo is a Wolf and a Healer who volunteers to infiltrate the Ram as a spy on behalf of the allied clans. She offers herself as a Ram slave, joining the people who are called the “nameless.” Hers is a suicide mission – Zo’s despair after losing her parents in a Ram raid has left her seeking both revenge and an end to her own misery. But after her younger sister follows her into Rams Gate, Zo must find a way to survive her dangerous mission and keep her sister safe.

What she doesn’t expect to find is the friendship of a young Ram whose life she saves, the confusing feelings she develops for a Ram soldier, and an underground nameless insurrection. "Jenkins brings edge-of-your-seat adventure to this intriguing new world. I can’t wait to read more!”~ New York Times bestselling author Jessica Day George

"Wow....WOW, WOW, WOW! I have no words to describe how much I love this book. Jenkins writes characters who are just so easy to love, and when you love a character it makes the book so much better. And I loved all the characters. Zo, Tess, Joshua and Gryphon. Gryphon is definitely my favorite - but who wouldn't love Gryphon? Of course I do have a soft spot for our heroine, Zo." ~Bri, Blogger @ Once Upon A Twilight

"Nameless destroyed me in the best way possible. The romance was subtle, but written beautifully. The plot was very intriguing and the pacing was spot on. I loved the entire cast of characters, every single one of them added to the story. Trust me when I say you should preorder it, add it to your TBR, request it from your library, do whatever you have to do to get this book in your hands because if you are a YA fantasy fan like me you need this book in your life!" ~Bridget, Blogger @ Dark Faerie Tales

"NAMELESS is epic storytelling at its best. My mind is still reeling from the world that I have just been immersed in and I don't want to leave it. Can I please have the sequel NOW? Because I need to know what happens next but in the meantime I'm just going to re-read it again and again. Is it that good, you may ask? Hell yes!!! And you will think so too. Trust me." Nancy, Blogger @ Tales of A Ravenous Reader

"To say that I love this book is an understatement. It completely blew me away! I am so happy that I took a chance on it. NAMELESS is one book that you can re-read over and over again and it will still feel fresh! I cannot wait for the world to read it and fall under the NAMELESS spell. Because that’s what I feel like I am under, a spell that has me trapped in Zo's world and won’t let me out! I don’t want out!"~Damaris, Blogger @ Good Choice Reading

Minotaur.v3
“Where shall I start?” asked Minotaur.

Ovid made an expansive gesture with both hands. “Where else but the beginning of course.”

Minotaur nodded his huge head. “Yes,” he said. “Yes,” his eyes already glazing over with the weight of thousand year old memories. And then he began.

So begins the story of Asterion, later known as Minotaur, the supposed half bull creature of Greek legend. Recorded by the famous Roman poet, Ovid, Asterion tells of his boyhood in Crete under the cruel hand of his stepfather Minos, his adventures with his friend, Theseus, and his growing love for the beautiful Phaedra. And of course what really happened in the labyrinth.

This is the true story of the Minotaur.

Pointe of Breaking Release Week Blitz

RWB-work

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000040_00009]

NOW LIVE

Meet ivy league socialite, Leo Richards, and struggling ballerina, Adeline Parker, in this angsty, emotional page-turner.

synopsis
POINTE
Getting screwed over backstage by my married-ex tears my heart into a million tiny pieces.
Sitting in the audience at the ballet with my former fling wasn’t my idea of fun.
I live in my pointe shoes, not even my ex can taint my love for ballet.
I hate the ballet. This on again/off again crap was getting old.

And then my whole world changes when I notice the smoldering gaze…
Then I look to the stage, and I can’t take my eyes off…
OF...
Leo Richards.
Adeline Parker.

Concentrating on anything except his sexy…everything, is impossible.
Her presence commands my attention…I’ve never experienced this before.
He makes me second-guess everything I’ve ever dreamed about.
She makes me question everything I’ve ever known.
Fighting him is a strategic sport—no clothes allowed.
All I can think about are her sexy ballerina legs wrapped around me—tutu definitely on.
BREAKING
Our scandalous rendezvous is plastered all over NYC’s tabloids.
Because of my status in Manhattan, now I’ve dragged her into the limelight.
My ex will stop at nothing to tear us apart.
Seriously powerful people forbid me to be with her.
Rumors about his past keep building.
I can’t tell her this secret.
When it came to Leo, I only knew the big things.
When it came to Adeline, I knew nothing about the little things.

But uncovering those things about him [her] may push us past our breaking point.

Real-life romance isn't only filled with hugs, kisses, bunnies, and rainbows. True-love can be more thoroughly described in times of darkness and tribulation. Summer Blogger Promo Tour - Week #3

This summer the blogosphere is going crazy and doing a 2 month long summer promo tour hosted by The Book Bratz. This week, I get to feature our brave and gutsy hosts and asked them what'd they
do with their book boyfriends for a day! Or in Jessica's case, book husband.

Jessica would go out with James Stark from the House of Night series! (He's not even my book boyfriend - he's my book husband. We're married and he just doesn't know it.) We'd probably go do something athletic like head to an archery practice place (do they have those?) and I'd watch him be all super hot and get all of the bulls-eyes. Then we'd go to a diner and get some Coca-cola (or, as it's referred to in the House of Night books, "brown pop") and some spaghetti, since those were some of his favorite things to eat when he was around Zoey (although she'd clearly be out of the picture at this point because he's my book husband and she'll get over it.) We'd end the night by going into a dead sleep because just like Stark, I am perfectly capable of being dead to the world when I'm sleeping. :-)

Amber would go out with Daemon from the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I am not quite sure what we would do. He would probably tease me relentlessly about my love of books and blogging. Maybe he could show me some of his cool Luxen powers, and I would show him the I am sadly mortal and aren't quite as awesome as him. We would go out to dinner to some fancy restaurant of his choosing and then end the night by watching the stars.
